Brecken is 8!
Eight years old feels very much like we do not have a “little kid” anymore. This kid knows himself. He knows what he likes (and is very clear on what he does not like). He absolutely loves performing, and theatre has become such a special thing in his life.
He’s super excited for baseball to start back up soon, and he and his dad have been practicing in the back yard for a few weeks now.
Second grade has been a really special year. He has had a phenomenal teacher who knows exactly how to connect with him and help him grow. His reading has really taken off, and he devours Wimpy Kid books in record time. He is a fiercely loyal friend, has a great sense of humor, and no shortage of creativity.
It’s super fun getting to be his mom!
