UIowa Dance BFAs - Classes of 2023 + 2024

Any time the University of Iowa Department of Dance invites me to come back and work with my former students is a treat. I loved working with these wonderful young dance artists in the studio when I was employed by the dance department, and this shoot with students in the BFA Seminar was no different. When I taught this class, I did these shoots as a way to help the students build up their professional materials before they begin their search for jobs after graduation.

Voxman Music Building is one of my favorite spots to do this, because it offers plenty of natural light and open space for these dancers to move, without having to brave the elements of the outdoors. I have so many favorite shots from these sessions, but here are just one or two from each of the dancers.
