Halloween 2020

Happy Halloween!

A few of my favorites from Brecken’s fourth (!) Halloween.

We had a perfect morning. This is just a reminder that fun is not canceled. COVID has made us all stretch our creative muscles and re-imagine things, and for us, this morning, it turned out to be just a little bit magical.

My husband hid 12 little pumpkins throughout our yard, each filled with a trinket or treat, and B delighted in finding them (though it took him a lot less time than the Easter eggs did six months ago…😁). This was followed by an impromptu game of “marching band conductor” and a walk down to the park. Sure, he went down for his nap a solid hour later than he should have, and part of me is still mourning the sweetness of Trick-or-Treating. But I wouldn’t trade memories like the ones we made this morning for anything. Happy Halloween, friends. 🧡🖤
