“The University of Iowa’s premiere touring ensemble, Dancers in Company, presents their hugely popular home concert. Now in its 35th year, the company presents works exploring this year’s theme of “taking ground.” Curated by company directors Jessica Anthony and Alex Bush, the diverse repertory engages with current and historical social and political movements that bring marginalized voices forward as well as abstract and aesthetic investigations of equity and space. UI Dance students will perform a thrilling  concert and use workshops and public discussions to facilitate community conversations throughout Iowa.
